This weekend, SP's national sales manager Kevin O'Brien was over from Dublin, Ireland and visiting London to celebrate Pride in London 2016 (Gay Pride).
Whilst travelling across London, Kevin received a phone alert via the GoodSAM mobile app to a male having a cardiac arrest at Kings Cross Train Station. Kevin was on scene within 2 minutes and along with the emergency services was able to perform CPR including defibrillation.
We are pleased to report that following the efforts of Kevin working with London Ambulance Service, St John Ambulance, British Transport Police and other responders, the patient's heart and breathing were both restarted and that he was subsequently taken to a local hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
SP's Managing Director Steve Bray said 'We are all very proud of Kevin's actions this weekend and we know that he is never off duty when it comes to someone in need. The fact that ROSC was achieved is just brilliant news and we wish the patient a full and speedy recovery."
